We are an average couple living a not so average life. We will be living in New Bern, NC for the next year and half on our 34′ trawler style Marine Trader (74). We call our boat vintage a little like us, starting to climb the hill but not over it. Our plans are to complete what is called the Great American Loop after the next year and half of getting to know the ropes and living aboard our boat. Something like working all the kinks out, hopefully. We will travel from here in New Bern out to the ICW and go north Spring of 2011, go towards and travel on the Hudson River to the Great Lakes and then travel down the rivers inland down towards Alabama and or New Orleans. Our Loop will be completed when we cross waters in Southern Florida where we purchased “Pale Moon.” Yes we are on an adventure and loving it! We do not have a time schedule, it is great that time does not rule our life.
I want to thank you for your allowing us to barge in on you and see and tour Pale Moon. Your boat is lovely and Patty especially liked the condition of the interior of the boat. We have looked and several and most others have been dissapointing. We have to check out some other boats and then sit down and do the hard part, decision making.

Good afternoon Sir and Ma’am just checking in with you, its been awhile since we have talked. I hope everything is on the up and up. Judy asked about you and was giving me a ration about not keeping up with everyone. This year has been interesting to say the least but I still keep my chin up. That way its easier to take a poke at. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both.
