Pale Moon is at a marina about a 30 min drive by car from Oriental, NC. When we go by boat to Oriental it takes us about 3 1/2 hours. About once a week we drive to Oriental so we can get coffee at “The Bean” and walk around town and look at the shrimp boats. Foxy Lady was out on the water working when we made the Pamlico crossing going to Ocracoke Island. While we were in Oriental last week Foxy Lady was in port and I was able to take a few pictures. We love to look at the shrimp boats, smell the fresh shrimp which is not the greatest smell…. and go to the local fish market knowing we are buying the freshest shrimp that are from the fishing boats. We bought shrimp and brought it home and had an old fashion shrimp boil with corn on the cob, potatoes, and onions.
